The Beginning

Why does underwear — the garment closest to your body — receive the least engineering?
In 2023, our founders — a product designer and an industrial engineer — decided to answer that question. Working from a small studio in Lisbon, they began deconstructing everything the industry had accepted as standard.
Flat patterns unchanged since the 1950s. Abrasive seams in high-friction zones. Fabrics chosen for cost, not performance.
What they discovered was an industry built on compromise.
So they decided to build one without it.

3D Body Mapping
We start with three-dimensional scans of the male anatomy across all body types and sizes. No flat pattern-making, no guesswork — real geometry informing every cut and curve.

Anatomical Engineering
Our signature contoured pouch is engineered using the same principles as ergonomic industrial design. Natural lift, no compression, zero adjustment needed throughout the day.

Zero-Seam Construction
Instead of sewing, we use heat-bonded construction that eliminates every stitch. The result: no friction points, no irritation, no visible lines under clothing.

47 Iterations
Every silhouette goes through at least 47 prototypes. Each is wear-tested in real conditions — 14-hour workdays, intense training, international flights — before it earns the KÖRPER name.
